McLays source the finest grass-fed scotch beef from only the best traditional farms in the North of Scotland for our Dry Aged Beef.

The recognised beef breeds will include Aberdeen Angus, Limousin, Charolais and Simmental to produce the size, quality and fat cover required for the restaurant trade

The specification of cattle selected will be R4L or better From Scotch Farm Assured livestock which graze freely on the rich nutritious pastures producing naturally reared beef.

We are one of a very few butchers in Scotland who own our own dry aging facility.
